Beautiful the locals are friendly and loving
This is more like a walk than a hike as it's mostly paved until you get near the flats. You can go and explore up on the ridge but I'd suggest you use some sort of gps if you go off trail so you can find your way back to the camp sites. Low traffic on this hike :)
3.5 mile hike to the top of peacock flats. 400 foot gain to mile 2 and then 800 more feet between mile 2 and 3.5
Great family hike, paved and lots of cows and sheep. You can see owls in the evening. Views of the ocean
Nice paved trail but big elevation change. Fabulous views.
