Great place to take a family hike.
Awesome, well maintained steep switchback trail up the hill about 1500 feet with spectacular views. Great exercise and cardio workout. I recommend good shoes because it's a little bit slippery and muddy sometimes. Nice picnic table up on top to have lunch.
Was there from an hour before sundown until a couple hours after sunrise in later August. I didn't hike the trails much, but I've yet to see stars so clear w/o a telescope - wish I had one with me.
No dogs allowed only negative I have
