Nice location, beautiful beach, beautiful sunsets, what more could you ask for.
This was definitely a nice and unique find. We stayed in the orange house for two nights and it was the perfect get-away from all of life's commotions. The house itself was quaint and updated beyond the photos listed. It's not a polished luxo-resort but it comes with way more character that makes it feel like a second home and everything was in good working order. Bernadette and Ruben (on-property caretakers) were welcoming and hospitable. Mrs. Owens herself even dropped by to welcome us. Away from the big cities and crowded beaches, you can see the stars like nowhere else. It is conveniently close to Halawei (restaurants/shops), horseback riding stables, skydiving, and plenty of beaches (incl. walkout), among other things. Would definitely go back and stay longer.
We stayed here for 7 days. It is a great place to stay away from the crowed city. We saw sea turtles on the beach everyday along with the endangered MONK SEAL. What a great find, especially the ORANGE house talk about beach front........ We really enjoyed being the only 2 people on the beach most days.

Simple Rustic Solitude at a Private Olde Hawaii Bungalow Compound. We stayed here in the Yellow House only a few feet off the virtually private beach for about 48 hours and felt like we were a million miles from the worst parts of modern life. I could have stayed a month. Not fancy, but perfect. Surrounded by surfers and water sports of every kind, divers, fisherman, Polo fields, skydivers, and gliders. My kind of place. I can't wait to go back.
