The entire experience was so great I made sure to pack as many dives as I could into my trip.
We are now both rated as MSD and we still dive with CJ's when on the island. He is a great guide in and out of the water. He introduced us to the island.
Cj's certified my son and I three years ago. My son was 14 at the time. He set us up for success.
No matter what, I can say that you'll have a great time while safe. I've seen him dive quite a few times over the years and I trust his abilities above and under water. Looking forward to dive with him again soon.
CJ is great fun to dive with! He knows the island's dive sites better than anybody and his positive energy is addicting. I love diving with CJ!

I've been on many trips in my life and no doubt about it diving with the CU Diving Team is at the very top of my list. CJ and Paula know how to make you feel comfortable, show you an excellent time and teach you more then just how to scuba dive. They'll show you what a true Hawaiian experience is like and will have you planning your next trip before the first one is over. Without question they will show you what Living Aloha is all about.
CJ is a great instructor! I had never had an experience so much cool as the one i had with CUDiving! I recommend to call CUDiving and have fun..! Cj is a great swimmer and he have great stuff... Thanks so much for making me have a so great day!
Safe,Convenient, fun......Boat dives, shore dives....Depending on your certs...Deep, night..etc......Always very helpful and always with a smile. Last year I had a neck injury and had to be very careful with anything heavy and movements. I didn't think I could dive with my son and was willing to let them dive together but Cj made it happen. He literally set up my gear and got it in the water for me on boat dives and shore dives. No mater what your level is, you'll enjoy diving with him. He can take it super slow and hold your hand all the way without judging or making you feel silly or take you to the limit. Your choice.
Ok, so I'm not really sure where to start but this might help you all. CJ has gills. The man is more comfortable in the water then he is out. The first time I ever went diving was with CJ and I have to be honest, I was a little nervous jumping off a boat with a tank on my back. I went through all the proper briefing before the initial dive so I was pretty comfortable with what to expect. Once we were in the water it instantly became one the greatest experiences of my life. CJ was there the entire time to guide me along showing me everything from white tips to turtles and of course his favorite, octopus..
Aloha! We spent an entire day touring the North Shore with CJ McCormick, in and out of the water. We swam with sea turtles, viewed humpback whales from a beautiful lookout point and experienced the North Shore in a unique and very personalized way with CJ. He is a true waterman and for us, not as experienced navigating the Pacific Ocean, we felt safe at all times. His passion for the ocean and Hawaii is apparent and he exudes the aloha spirit! He is a wealth of knowledge from diving to surfing AND helping you choose a great local restaurant to end your day at, which is exactly what we did with CJ! Mahalo for a memorable adventure!
