There have always been turtles on the beach when i've come out here - and usually they can be seen swimming around close to shore too. Very very pretty beach, and pretty secluded too, not a whole lot of other people around. But, while the beach is sandy and pretty, right where the surf comes in is mostly rock, and every time i've been the surf has been pretty rough - not very conducive to swimming and definitely not for snorkeling. Granted, maybe it was just rough seas both times i went. But i tried to snorkel this last time and ended up getting pretty beat up trying to get in the water and trying to get back out. But, if you want to see some turtles, it's a pretty good spot!
Perfectly empty beach, but no bathrooms or showers, access to water requires climbing over slippery boulders
One of the greatest beaches in Hawaii. Relax swimming with turtles and lots of reef fish. The subsets are spectacular here. From my favorite show Lost, been here is a true paradise and like being in the movie. Greatest place to visit.
Great place to do a little snorkeling and just chill. Parking is slim, but if you find a spot, it's a great place to visit. A lot of turtles here.
I love this beach, usually pretty quiet due to very limited parking. Probably shouldn't go if you dislike small crowds. No bathroom/shower probably helps keep people away too.
