I absolutely loved this van!! Had such a fun time while on the island.
We were in a couple SOS situations, mind you this van is super old and is bound to break down once in a while even with all the refurbishment. However our contact came to the rescue, he made it super easy for us and gave us many great tips. When i go back to the island i will 100% rent another van, maybe an automatic transmission this time as i am not a very experienced manual transmission driver.
Hands down the best way to see hawaii,Lucus and Everyone at Hawaii Surf Campers did everything they could to help us have the best trip ever! Do not hesitate to hire one of these vans (especially Mallory) and tour around Oahu so many great experiences will never forget it. Five stars is not enough of a rating.
Five stars!! My husband and I travel often, but this trip was one of our favorites in large part because of the camper van. We could see so much more of the island with our hotel on wheels! I highly, highly recommend. We will certainly rent again when we return. And Lucas was fantastic - he went out of his way to be generous and welcoming. The best!
if it is the van life experience you are after you MUST rent one, it made our trip even better than I could have imagined!!
Lucas was so very very helpful. From the beginning he was easily contactable, answered all my questions and was very flexible. He collected us from the airport and took us to to the north shore to collect Mallory the van we had hired. He gave us a map of places to stay and all relevant information needed to help us on our journey. The van was in great condition and well presented with fairy lights to make it feel more homely and rustic at night. All our friends in Australia thought our holiday looked amazing from photos but the actual experience for us is one we won't forget. Thanks for everything Lucas ! We loved your van and seeing the north shore on wheels
Great service and legit vehicles! These are the real deal so don't expect a new car, LOL... But for a camper over 30 years, excellent shape.
